    @Selroth

    I don't consider myself a dragon. But since I was a kid, I've always had a relationship with dragons which varied in strength throughout my life. Early on, I must have been obsessed with them. When I reviewed early childhood school papers, I often drew dragons, included them in my stories, and very much thought they were real. Reality set in a little bit, but once I got Internet I started venturing into gaming and roleplay IRC networks in the 90s, migrated to dragonkin networks in the 2000s, and landed here in 2003. I thought I was a dragon, but in the end I was just fooling myself. I no longer identify as a dragon, but I still have a strong affinity towards them, and my avatar's imaginary species in particular (who I call 'roths). Just because I don't identify as a dragon doesn't mean I didn't make many dragon friends and found a good home. So now I run Draconity.org so that it can still be a good home, with many friends, for someone else!

      Like the old website, a Staff member has to approve your account to grant you access to the community. This protects our members' privacy.

      There should be a bright banner on the top of the site after you've registered for an account. While the Introductions Board is hidden, you can still post to it here: https://www.draconity.org/compose?cid=7

      It may take a while for a Staff member to review and approve it, but In the meantime, feel free to verify your email and complete your profile and settings. After it's approved, and you've gained at least 1 "reputation point", your posts no longer need reviewed.
