I was posting one of my recent thread, and i got this odd feeling that the topic was dealt before in the same fashion, I tried to search for the old topic, but I found that that is an overwhelming task that would require all day.
And this isn't the first time that happened to me, may i add, it seems that finding something specific in old topics isn't an easy task, and with the growing number of threads i find it more difficult to locate certain ideas that might be useful at times.

So i would like to make a suggestion,do you think that installing a search engine for topics is a good or bad idea? and why?

We have a search function, You should be able to find it on top of the forum, on the right half of the options. Click me. Or is it that you don't find the search function convenient enough?

You could try using google and adding site:draconity.org to your search. I use it sometimes myself to search within a site.

Google won't work, it only indexes the public pages like the announcements. The rest of the forum is protected.
