I would like to propose this MOD I've searched through

It's based on an idea i was suggesting to Selroth a time ago, and indeed there seems to be already a MOD doing the same thing i did mention.
You can 'ignore' topics so that they' don't show up in the 'new to read list'. This may apply, for example, like the chain posts (the how dare you, the music one... etc.) that are very frequently replied.

It seems though, to require the Beta3...
I'm not sure here how they versions works though. I see under the footer this version is RC5. Theoretically release candidates should be after betas... no?

An excellent suggestion, I say. This could be a great relief when the game topics push all the discussions down. I'm fine with games, but them showing up in the recent posts can be annoying. This could actually solve this, and one can choose the ignores topics him/herself too!

This would be nice to have, and could prevent a lot of raging (not just on games topics), if people chose to use it in the case it was added to the forum.

I'd be for such an option. As it is I am visually skimming each section for new topics/replies instead of using the 'unread posts' option.

Installed!

Took me forever to figure out how to enable the damned thing!!  Had to dive into the code to find what was wrong, noticed an odd setting I didn't see, tried searching for it all over, google showed nothing, went back to tracing it, found it in the admin panel that controls BOARDS, not topics nor post settings!  Ugh.  Why the fuck they stick it in there?!

You can only ignore topics by viewing the Recent Topics list (look at top, next to your avatar).  You can manage which topics you've ignored in your profile.

Hope this works!  Thanks for finding it and suggesting it Kiantis!
