Before I registered, I could view this section as a guest. But I had no interest in it, beyond the fact that it implied that there were other sections to read once I had registered. And only then, after a while, would these insider-threads have any relevance to me.

In other words, what if we at least had a thread here directed towards guests?

That's an excelelnt suggestion there with the small guest questions section! What about adding that to the poll?
