My e-mail address I use for Draconomicon was down for about half a year, but now that I got it back up I noticed Draconomicon does not send notificacations anymore, likley because it thinks my e-mail address is still invalid.

If possible could someone fix it so the server will notify me again?, or what I should do to make it work again? I checked my settings and the e-mail address is correct, but not noteifactions are comming on my watches topics that are being posted on.

Hmm, T-Sar or Sel will have to handle this one since I'm not as familiar with the technical aspects of the site. Have you been clicking on the 'Notify me of Replies' within each thread, or do you have it set to notify you of all replies made anywhere in the forums?

Hmm...  I've been getting them just fine.  Though, a lot of bugs came up since T-Sar migrated the server to a business server, so that may be the cause.  However, if you're patient and wait a little while, we may just build a new site with a new technology.

I have the watch on the topic on, because when I put the mouse over the clock icon like at the bottom of this page it says "stop watching this topic" meaning I am currently watching it. But the notifacation e-mails won't be sent to me.

As I said before, I think it's because the server thinks my e-mail is invalid because for a few months it was down (unable to receive e-mails) so the server might of guessed the e-mail address no longer exists, but it does.

The server doesn't have that capability (I think).  I'd check your junk folders and spam filters and such.  But I'll notify T-Sar if the problem persists, OK?  I don't have priveldges to be messing around with the email service.

Still no e-mails.. and the e-mail account I have doesn't have spam detection everything sent to me gos stright to my inbox, and I tested e-mailing myself a couple times, and it does work... humm I'll try changeing my e-mail address to one of my other addresses, then change it back again, maybe it'll reset

I changed my e-mail address in which notifacations are sent, but still I don't recieve them. Could someone please look into why the website isn't e-mail me please?


EDIT: humm.... well I at least was e-mailed about getting a PM... I'll wait a bit longer to see if the forum notifys will start working too

It sounds like a bug with the forum code itself, and we can't really be investing the time to fix that.  We didn't program this forum's technology, and our mail servers are working fine.  At any rate, come the new site, things will be refreshed and we'll have a team of web developers who know what they're doing, rather than 1 person who just combined a bunch of modules.

I have poked about and it's finally working again. The problem lied both on my receiveing server and the funny way I set everything in my account up. I have it now sending my notifcation e-mails to my draconomicon address so it's all good.

There was really little you could have done lol, the problem was more on my end then on draconomicons. I'd be surprsied if anyone would have been able to help on that question. No worries, glad for the help nonetheless.
