Showing the gender - Suggestion
« on: March 14, 2010, 06:57:13 PM »

Since I think that not everyone is knowing the gender of the poster before or in general;
I thought it would be great to put the Gendersigns over the Avatar (referencepicture as attachment)).

It's possible on SMForums, but I'm not sure whether it's taking a lot of time to code it or whether it's just a "small thing".
(((( referencepicture (attachment) was make on an Simple Machine Forum like this one here ))))
((((( and just by the way: edited the username and the personal quotes away ^.-.^ )))))

Please tell me your mean.

I think it is a wise idea. I have had such slips in the past and would like not to have them happen to me again. You know, believing someone is female although they are male... *blushes*

It would eliminate confusion, not to mention we could get to know our other members better that way.

Yap, exactly!
That's exactly the considered reason why I created this topic/suggestion.

Done!  Not sure how I overlooked that.  It wasn't my intention to leave it out.

I like having many guys on the site D:

In any case, I like this idea and I am glad it went away. I completely forgot we had that in the past.

There's always been alot of males on the internet, though I have noticed over the past seven years the number of females online has dropped significantly.

Actually, it's increased significantly.  Mostly thanks to sites like MySpace, Twitter, and facebook.  And also smartphones.
