Why is it that we don't have a board based on sexuality?  I mean, yeah, we're Dragons, but that doesn't mean we have to ignore baser instincts, right?  Granted, I know sex isn't the most comfortable thing to talk about, but THAT'S why we could have a board on it... to talk about the stuff going on in our heads.  I know some of us would want some things kept private, that's fine; I'll admit, I'm right there with ya.
 
Point is, for all of our "burning" (lol dragon humor...) questions about what's what and all, I think it might be a good idea to have a board.

I certainly agree that a sexuality forum would be appropriate.  It would have a lot of benefits, and hopefully with the right atmosphere can improve on our understanding and health of such a taboo subject. 


My only concern is that we do have a lot of youth in the forum.  But, there's no law against a sexuality forum as long as there's no porn/yiff in it.


I don't mind creating such a forum, but I'd like to hear others' opinions on if we should have one, and what it should be like.

I think it will probably turn into a homosexuality board because I don't think anyone will be "omg guys!!!    I need advice on draggy style!" lol no but seriously. Do we need to give sexuality its own special attention? Can't we just put sexuality related topics in other topics? Can we have a female board too?

How would a sexuality forum help? I don't see much use for it here.

To my knowledge there aren't much gay/bisexuals/lesbians on this site. Most are straight to my knowledge. I don't see how it would be useful where such residents are a minority (like the male to female ratio of this site XP) I am pretty sure there are gay guys on this site (I don't think there are any lesbians) as for bisexuals, I am one, I don't know if there are any more. So there is a group. But it isn't big enough really.

You are right in that sex isn't something most find comfortable talking about. I can see why you wish to start something that people could be more open about. But I just don't see how it would be useful. Would there be more uses for it? For a sexuality forum I would hope it to have another use, rather than just sexual orientation. Otherwise I can't see this to work. If it had another use, I am fine with the idea. I just don't know if people would post in it or not.

Anyways I think the board would include everyone in it. Those who choose to scope the topic. What I am personally concerned about is what some will say and what others will get thinking. ...Not hot. Haha, but it really would be interesting. 
What exactly do you people have in mind about discussing? And what limit is there to reach in discussing? From "im fully abstinent!" -screw that... To "ive banged these chicks, and have had these thoughts about maybe doing so and so.."

Where did the sexual preference come in?  And a female board?  I think you're misunderstanding it :)


This isn't a yiff board proposal.  We're not out to satisfy someone's lust.  We're out to discuss sexual health topics, and sexuality in general.  In some other sexuality-oriented forums I've been to, some sample topics you'd find are:

Alcoholic drinks of choice and recipes
Circumcision
Genital shaving
Genital sensitivity issues
Sexual anxiety
Mating habbits
"The Pill"
"What Girls want"
Adult art tutorials
Erotic stories
Being a virgin

Well if some under the age of 18 would want to post, the adult board wouldnt seem to suit it. I wouldnt mind what its called. I probably wouldnt post alot since I have people to discuss about this here where I live all the time. But I would sometimes. Theres other people to talk to about this also like i do dont you think? Theres other boards and forums specifically for this. I see the mating habits there listed, but it does very within every human(random echo on that word, haha). But there are sites like teenspot.com and such.

thats a tricky one, as Sel said there are a lot of younger users here and im sure their parents wouldnt be thrilled to see them surfing in that forum. they probably wouldnt be allowed back. not only that, but truth be told i dont think everyone would be able to keep it mature, id hate to see it just become a "post your favorite adult picture" forum or the next "4chan".
