A suggestion for the "Members" section

First off I really like how easy it is to search for and find other members using the member search engine ( http://www.draconity.org/index.php?action=mlist;sa=search ) however there is something I feel it needs. A way to search for members by where in the world they live. By this I don't mean necessarily right down to their street address, but more by their country/nation/etc., state/providence/etc., and city/town/parish/village/etc. The idea behind this is to make it easier for members like myself to find other members living in our area for contact or other purpose. Just an idea I thought I would throw out there. :)

I know talk of a local kin notifier happened a while ago but that hasn't come into play yet.

I know of it. More what I was talking about is an addition to this search engine I found on the site:

I was thinking since alot of members have their location listed there but it is not added to the map automatically it might be nice to have a way to find out who is near who without having to dig through member names one at a time. Or at least have their approximate location appear on the map automatically as some other dragon sites have done. kindof along the lines of what I see with the Members map on draconic.com and dragon-realms.com

That's a good idea. Then I could see if a member has their location near me. And that would be awesome.

Good idea, but I will not have any use for it because only 1 person in school knows I am an otherkin, and I can't even go to his house. Makes me feel kinda lonely...:sad:
