Something that should be mentioned is that the ignore feature, which used to just ignore private messages from people on the ignore list, now ignores all the person's posts as well as their PM's.

Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing yet, I don't know.  I'm sure that's something that will have to be decided by individual users.  But for me, the only reason I had anyone on the list was to keep from getting private messages from them.

So just a head's up on that, Selroth.  The upgraded site is very nice, I like the blog set up, and the overall look of the site is very refreshing, very new.  But the ignore feature has changed substantially from its original function.

Go to your Profile, under "Look and Feel", you'll find this option:  Hide messages posted by members on my ignore list.

Yeah, I looked at that just now, Selroth.  (Thanks for letting me know about how that worked just now, btw).  It's already checked, but it looks like it just says "Messages," so I assume that means all messages, not just private messages?

What I was saying earlier was that I used to not get private messages from people on my ignore list.  Now I don't see their posts, either.  That's all I was saying.

Exactly.  Removing the check mark will fix it to where you see their posts on the forum, but not private messages.

Well, the new site looks and feels good. What I don't like is that the quick reply box is collapsible, and collapsed by default. This does so that when I press the quote button, I end up in the full post editor and not in the quick reply box like I want it to. Unless I have clicked quick reply and see the whole function, then it works as before.

You can change that :)

Ah, as almost all the other things that were disliked in some way. Well, I'll check that option out right now...

Hey Sel, I have noticed that whenever you make a post (not in quick reply box) that when you press enter, it has a space between the line above. I have been confused by this many times so far, I was so used to having no space between lines that I got confused to what happened when pressing enter. Is there a way for me to change it to have it as back to the old times?

I have also looked for where the themes are but I couldn't find it, either I can't find it or it isn't there. Which is right? If it isn't there, when will you get the other themes up? I don't like the default one.

Thank you and Happy New Year.

EDIT: I just realized I could have just e-mailed you this. :/ Sorry.

IRC chat is up and running.  You must have Java installed.

For now, we're stuck with just this theme.  How could you not like it?!  :(   Oh well.  I'll add the old themes over time - it just take a lot of work.  What theme did you use to use?

I'm a bit confused as to what you mean by hitting Enter putting a space there.  Isn't that what Enter is supposed to do?

Perhaps take a screen shot?  Also, are you using the WYSIWYG editor?  To find out, try making an item bold - and if it shows up bold in the editor before you post it, then it's WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get)

Ah, that explains it! Now I know how to fix a minor annoyance with posting. I'll check it out, See what it is set to and make sure it is off.

Oh I get it! Hah. I knew what kit meant but I didn't know exactly what it did. I will solve that error now. I don't like it :/.

And I just don't like this theme, but don't make it critical. I am sure there are more important things to bring back :).

Oooooooh.  I get what you're saying now.  Thanks for letting me know about that, Sel.  That is very much relieving.

I know you've got those problems solved Kilmore, and that's good.
