I would say sense of community and anticipated reciprocity. People come to be with other dragons and to learn about their own draconity. Sense of Efficacy is mostly a concern for mods and older members.

It might be so, but what about Sense of Community being the main factor for most?

1. Sense of Community.
Which explains the association by having common things, which lead to the word. It's just something that exists, and that existence gives form to everything else.

2. Sense of Efficacy.
Sometimes i have a feeling that draconity (as symbol, not as the community) has to get somewhere. But i don't think if it applies to the community after all.

3. Anticipated Reciprocity
I put this for third because i see more importance in the whole rather than the personal benefits. Somehow i think that when participating to the common group everyone may benefit automatically. At least i've seen this one quite selfish. We're pratically in the same boat, no?
About "just questions being answered" definition: well if it's like that, i would regroup it to sense of eccicacy then.

I don't even consider Increased Recognition: i see the comm. as an "open" group and not as a hierarchic thing or whatever. Recognition may happen, but it just a collateral effect.

This topic has been around for a month soon. I think we should sum this up: Most dragons (and ordinary humans who respect us as we are!) that are on these forums are here because they want to be around people like themselves.
