Maybe you should skip the discussions and just post your beliefs without looking for a response. Do you want us to ask you questions so that we understand you better, or do you just want us to listen to what you have to say?
The thing about posting my beliefs on a forum is that I
expect a response. Why would I take the time and effort to summarize my intensely personal beliefs otherwise? If my reasoning is flawed or if I'm missing something, then it's in my best interest to have that pointed out. If something I know could help someone else's spiritual development, then I feel obligated to share that information. And yes, if someone wants to understand my views better, they should feel free to ask me.
This is a community forum. If you don't want a response, you shouldn't be posting it.
Forget about the logic in spiritual beliefs. Sometimes, there appears to be none.
On the contrary, logic and spirituality aren't exactly exclusive. Critical thinking has been paramount in much of my draconity. I'm hardly suggesting a scientific approach; there's a mild lack of evidence for that route. However, reasoning skills can help one differentiate between a past life and a dream, magicksz from coincidence, and fluffy bullcrap from real spiritual development.
Maybe you want us to have open ears and closed mouths -- neglecting to criticize what you have to say.
If something I say needs to be criticized, then bring it on. A healthy dose of constructive criticism is extremely important (I would argue almost necessary) for spirituality. It gives you the ability to look at things from a different point of view. It may even lead you to a much greater realization than you would have been capable of yourself. Don't get me wrong, that can be taken too far as well. But what's the point of posting on a forum community if nobody is going to give you any feedback?
