Figured you probably did somewhere.  I looked around in the gallery to see if it was stored somewhere, but couldn't find anything.

My fault there, I kept meaning to put them somewhere for all to use but forgot...or other things came up that needed to be done first. Poke me about it if they don't appear somewhere by tomorrow!  :poke:

Yeah, the way Selroth worded the original post it looked like all options were still on the table.  I find that usually when people make numbered lists of options like that without much explanation, they usually put the option they like best first.  Or they specifically indicate they prefer one of the other options.  You know, either "I think we should do A, but there's also B and C" versus "Well, we thought about these options, but we think that this other option is better because..."

Option 1 was definitely worded to sound like you were planning to build your own payment software/database, and since you never mentioned Paypal I assumed you were going to use your own custom software for option 3.  Sel may have told Aurelia that Option 1 was a "crap option", but it wasn't indicated in his post.

Not like I'm around often enough for this issue to concern me overmuch, but I'd hate to see the site experience legal problems.  And I know Sel well enough to know that he doesn't always think about possible repercussions.

Um...  Thanks.  That was very constructive... I think.

Anyway, regardless of how I wrote the post, you're kinda right.  Though, I often do think about the consequences or risks, I usually aren't afraid of them.  Seriously, I'm not too afraid of t3h Internetz P0liCe.  They hvae bigger fish to fry, and certainly easier fish to fry - assuming they have anything to fry at all.  I'm not running Napster or The Pirate Bay.  And I assumed that paypal on some level was assumed - it's hard to find a site that doesn't use it.

The first option was a shopping cart PHP script, written by whoever else, published, known, and documented.  I'm not fluent enough in PHP nor would I trust my own code.  Just like packages like SMF (this forum's technology), PostNuke, or even your favorite flavor of Wiki, there's shopping carts.
