That banner was made quite a while ago in a contest we held on the site and was one of two winning entries.

I was honestly dissapointed by the newsletter. It's way too "1 sided" for my taste. Please remember that not everyone on here is "otherkin" or whatever you want to call it.

1-sided in what way? What would you have liked to have seen in there?

I didn't think I made it "otherkin only" or "non-otherkin only", just website news in general :/

1 interview with an otherkin...what exactly is your problem? If you want your own views on otherkinism in it, kindly ask them to be interviewed and you might just get it into the next newsletter
 
@aure&sel&co: i think the newsletter is excellent as it is! there's site news, general news about the community(new members, the art trade, new chat channels), and an other interesting thing being the interview :> I would like to see the possibility to have some more member generated things like it, if that's an idea. After all, it's a newsletter to the community, by the community. Could be things like blogs, wishes, etc... I think if you opened something like it for members it could generate some interesting things

The Newsletter is pretty nice. I was quite delighted to see it because well, it looked really special.

I don't see what your problem is Atlas. 1-Sided? Well, IF it was 1-sided, then I don't see it being a problem for this site when this site was designed for Dragonkin. Doesn't mean that others weren't allowed, just it's original purpose was more for Otherkin. So if a newsletter was made then it will most likely reflect the site.

Besides, it was more talking about the 'Site News' (like Sels and Aurelia's marriage) so geeze I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean.

Yes, someone will need to take over in my period of absense, unless you want me to do it on my week vacation. Then I could do it in July, but thats it  :sad:

Yes there will be more newsletters :)  Obviously with Sel and my wedding only 7 days away (argh!) we have been a little pre-occupied with planning and organising that.  But after then, I'll get back onto the newsletter bandwagon and we can sort out a more regular posting of them :)

Thanks for the offer of help Sukotto, I shall talk to you about it a bit more after the wedding!

Maybe there should be a team of members here on Draconity that does the newsletter Aurelia. I never expected the Admin to do it. If a Newsletter group on this forum was made (using the template from the awesome newsletter prior) news letters would be made every month easily. Just a suggestion is all.
