what about a field day? like um...a scavenger hunt or something and you get a ticket for doing stuff, and you can redeem them for prizes and medals and trophies that you can display in your profile, or perhaps that you can build up to buy something nice like a free commission from an artist at the website? you would have to get more to get better stuff, and we could have the day be every saturday or something like that :3

That's a neat idea, Sillydraco!  However, I think it would be better off as a Project managed by someone tracking the tickets and stuff, rather than a mod directly into the site technology.  That would be a fairly major change to the site technology.

well it could be like your point system you mentioned earlier, maybe doing some things automatically adds a point but wouldnt be something someone could abuse with F5 or something like that, and mods or admins can grant one for good behavior! (not for posting tho, as that would just lead to pointless posts)

Any point systems I bring up tend to face a huge wave of resistance to the idea, heh.  So I kinda backed out of it, again. 

Even if it doesn't offer a real reward, people will get the impression to strive for it like a game.  And this can lead to people writing what they think people want to hear, rather than writing what's actually on their mind.

I found it hard to see the themes in the preview. The images when clicked on pop-up really small. I voted for green Leaf as it is my favorite from what I could see. Forest would be my second choice.
