I would like to express my apologies for the delay. And I'm very sorry that I'm afraid we are not able to conitnue this project, because DEN's computer has broken  by accident. There was a power cut when he was working, and so damaged the harddisk, he lost all his work... not only the forum style design for draconity.org, but also the artworks for other customers. Now he is busy on re-drawing.
I'm not sure if I and DEN could continue this programe, probably we cann't.

I have a really good friend, who could use the money. But she doesn't know PHP and she would mostly be really good in drawing the graphics needed in the design. Would that be of any use? (She's currently doing web design courses, but she's not at a point where she can effectively edit PHP).

She does sound like a good canidate - and the PHP bit isn't nearly as hard as one would think.  She could certainly start off by just overwriting existing graphics in an existing theme.  And from there you can play with the layout once you venture into the basics of the CSS - it's almost common sense.  And there are tons of tutorials and guides.  And if she's looking to make a career of graphics design, she'll probably want to get her feet wet in such things anyway.  You can certainly let her know about the offer!
