I stumbled over a neat system I found when link hopping from TheriThere which looks like a great idea for us to add to this site as it seems a handful of other, otherkin and therian sites are also using it, and best of all it's compatible with PHPBB which I think this forum is using.
The system is called OpenID, and what it is, is a system in which you have a roaming user ID that you can use on multiple websites, which sounds great to me because, for example we can prove it's us when we go to other sites. I noticed Live Journal also uses it, which a lot of otherkin seem to use. I think it'd be great if I can prove the 'Dafydd Edward Dragon' in a bunch of sites I go it are all actually me, and no someone trying to mimic my name.

http://phpbbopenid.com/Does this sound like a good idea to install into the site? As well ask sister sites? Being able to cross-identify otherkin I think would be a great idea, I wish there were other universal ID system like this.
