Is the site now automatically logging everyone out? I keep asking it to remember me but have to sign in on each visit. It was working fine until a few days ago but its getting slightly annoying now (only slightly).

At least its not as bad as Nintendo though, when I try to login on the login page it ignores the request and sends me somewhere else! Ah, the joys of computers!

Does it say that you're logged on in the user information on the left side of the screen?

Nope, I'm not getting confused with the new menu bar at the top in case that was what you were wondering.

All I get under main menu is 'Main' and when I click to visit a topic from the front page it sends me to the login screen. It's definately logging me out when I close the window.

seems it won't log out the linux machine , nor the NT machine
i've been logged in all day the last few days ..

never got logged out ..

It used to auto log out after 7 days... Or at least thats what it was set to do.

It didn't log me out last night so it looks like its fixed, I don't know about this evening because I left my browser window open when I was at work!

And now its happening again. I know it logged me out the other day when there was a problem but I'm assuming it has been fixed now? Either way I'm back to having to log in each visit.

The session table got corrupted during a server reboot and I was forced to clear it. Now that the new hardware is in place it should be much better behaved.
