Recently a problem was reported that prevented some people from adding to their gallery. It seemed it was browser specific so it didn't catch it as soon as I should have.

Sorry about any problems this has caused. It should be working properly now.

Thats why I didn't catch it until now. It works fine on the Linux browsers I tested it with.

Umm... I can't. O_o Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Everytime I try to click on "Add Photo" on the dropdown box thingy (and yes I'm logged in and yes I'm in -my- gallery), it keeps going right back to the way it was before. :( I use slimbrowser, which really is just a skin-type thing for IE. O_o

Ever tried it on a differnt machine with only IE on it ?
cause it seems fine here...

will need to do some more tests ..
runnin a NT machine SP6  , IE 5.5 SP2
 ( both things fully patched )

In the Member gallery page there is a drop down box in the top right that says <admin options>.  Click on that and select "New nested gallery" to add one.  I am not sure of the details beyond that since I don't have one.  And I found to be careful when click on that box than using the mouse wheel since a long time ago I managed to create several galleries at the same time (extra ones have to be removed by an admin).

i have a question... when i go to view my gallery, my icon i guess you would call it is the first picture i entered in there. and i dont like that picture very much... is there a way i could choose what picture i want to be shown there? cuz i would like to make it the second picture... and if i enter more pictures into my gallery, i would like to occasionally change it. is this possible? thanks for your consideration.

The few admins we currently have are kind of busy at the moment as they have outside lives just like the rest of us.  I don't have a gallery, so I didn't know the answer.  But I wondered the same thing since it looks like the picture wasn't always the first picture in the gallery.
 
I checked with Selroth and he says to go to the image you want.  Then in the "Edit photo" drop-down menu, pick "Highlight picture" and that will set that picture as the one that shows on the folder.
