Heehee. Now that I got your attention, lemme rephrase the question:
For what reason do you come to Draconity.org? What do you enjoy the most about it? Why did you go through the (small, but existent) effort to put in an application and come to the site?
I originally came to the site for Social reasons: Desren (formerly known as Naya at the time) invited me to the site from Draconic.net. I wasn't too big on forums, but I found it comfortable here and stayed around. It wasn't too long until T-Sar-Goth became fond of me and made me an assistant admin with Desren.
After that, my main reason to come to the site probably shifted to Benevolence. I liked being an admin and doing whatever to help people, even if it wasn't much at the time. I was still enjoying the Social aspect of the site as well, but becoming an admin may have more than doubled my interest in the site.
It in fact went back to Social as I focused more on a few close friends in the IRC rather than the administration aspect. These friends changed my life around and literally made a world of difference in my life. Not because they tried, but because of the type of people they are.
With my life radically changed from a rather dark depression, I pursued other opportunities in my life. After a few months, I decided to join the Air Force and resign as admin of the site, thinking I probably wouldn't come back. I was wrong, heh. I missed the site terribly, and eagerly came back.
However, whether it be the time apart or the new life I've discovered, I couldn't regain the Social reasons for being at the site. But, the fact that this website was where I met some very important friends and went through a very critical stage in my life, I picked up administration again gearing towards providing a place for the same... "miracle" to happen to others. So I'd say Social went down, but Benevolence stayed.
Today, I think most people don't need that same miracle to happen, and this isn't a self-help website anyway. It's more of a hobby of mine where I get simple pleasures from helping others. It's a side-dish on a now very productive lifestyle I live. Not to de-mean the site at all, as that's certainly not the case. I enjoy it as a hobby, and I also see it as an opportunity for me to learn how to administrate better and use the experience to better my own life. So I guess now it's a mix of Benevolence and Knowledge.
