I thought I would say something here as it doesn't seem like any statement has been made yet.
 
IRC is acting weird and has been down (sort of).  If you've stayed connected to IRC, it seems to work fine, however IRC will not let new people connect or reconnect to it.  So once you are off, it will look like it is down.
 
Admins have already been contacted about it and looked into it.  It will likely be fixed on Monday.  I'm just posting this in case anyone tried connecting to IRC and was wondering what was going on.
