1.) He originally asked if the clan would require going through the E! portion of the site, as he doesn't like much of the content there and would rather avoid it if possible.

2.) He said he thought it was a gaming clan for dragonkin, not purely of dragonkin.  (And, considering the topic of this thread is "Dragonkin Gaming Clan!", I wouldn't think that would be too big or odd an assumption.)

3.) Can this be dropped?  Stop hounding a guy for asking a frigging reasonable question.

Enverex, here is a suggestion. Look at the site yourself. Instead of relying on other peoples opinions that you obviously do not trust. To make it easier it is the second link down on the left bar over there. when you get to the site, choose forums. RWAR is on the bottom at the moment for relative inactivity. Then, you can choose for yourself if the site is satisfactory. No one can tell you what you want to hear, so do it yourself.

I did do it myself, the comments I made were all from experience. When I went there initially all I saw on the front page was "RE: Dragon slayers, RE: Dragon slayers, RE: Dragon slayers, RE: Dragon slayers, RE: The Dragon hunters". Ergo I never went back as that wasn't anything I wanted to see. Sure, I can click forums to go straight to RAWR, but I still had to look around the front page to find it and look through those titles in the meantime.

Anyway, don't worry about me, it seems I'm just winding people up so don't take offense to anything I say.

Well, I have interest in this gameing clan.. would be a perfect way to intergrate my human side and dragon side in harmony. Human from my gameing skills with local friends, and dragon by still being able to express my draconic personality since I'd be with fellow dragonkin or those who know of dragonkin; I love it.

I'll be sure to pop into the IRC and poke into the RWAR form.. I like DIG better personally, but that's my opinion, thought we were going to make a vote on the name somehow.

As for Enverex, I know exactly what you mean. I went to the roleplay.draconomicon.com a few times, and every time I looked I were insulted by a page full of dragon slaying role plays.. You'd think on a form for dragonkin, that role plays involveing dragons, the dragons would be viewed as good, or neutral creatures since people /should/ be inlightened by seeing dragonkin.

I tried to be active there, but every role play I looked at, I hated deeply and rather hurt me inside the way some of them were going. Not one I found would I be able to role play in without someone going "oh, a little dragon that can hardly defend himself from a swarm of people with swords, let's skin em'!" so I never got involved.  However, if we want to continue on about the role play thing, best make a new topic for that; let's keep our minds set on the dragonkin/dragon lover gameing clan.

I can understand trying to be respectful of peoples desires and beliefs about things, but in this case I think it looks more like some overreactions about something not really even there.  Maybe some one of the roleplayers can tell me how often threads are deleted instead of sticking them in the dead rpg board, since my searches were only done recently and would be misleading if many threads were deleted.  But I could not find any rp by the name Dragon Hunter, and as I said before, there was one out of twenty some rp’s that I could tell was about dragon slayers, appropriately named Dragon Slayers.  It was about dragons defending themselves from evil dragon slayers as far as I can tell (it died before it really got started anyways).  

All I can think at this point, is if you are going to run from any mention of dragon slayers, then you can’t even have discussion of how they are bad a bad concept that involve a stereotype that should be changed (as that thread looked like it could potentially contribute to...).  In the end, if it is important for you to avoid certain things to the extent of not being able to use a feature on a site that has mentioned dragon slayers once or twice (even possibly in the same light you would like them portrayed) then you are going to have to live with not being able to use many things because it seems awfully prohibitive and unfair to ban a broad topic for a lot of people to allow one person to use a minor feature of a site without seeing a certain word rarely.

Yeah, but everyone kills the Dragons and baby Dragons in WoW :( (kinda the reason I never bought it).

One game I could recommend for Rawr to help it get started is Civilization 4. Great fun. Even has a play by email function for those obscenely long games :P

Just out of wonder is there any clan part in Battlefield 2, Svencoop (Sven coop is just a Co-Op mod for HL1), or CSS?
cuz im pretty good at Battlefield 2, i give the other team a run for the flag (and alot of suicide runs in the black hawk, and jeeps)

humm.. Sven coop or coop HL1 sounds intersting to me, I got that mod and still never got to try it.

first: no rpgs have ever been deleted... That is why there is the dead rpg section in case something like this cropped up and the records needed to be reviewed.

second: games I own are WoW and warcraft three+expasion. Although I have no time to play them now. Although I would like to know if any guilds, etc. start up.

third: Desren is correct, if anyone wants to set up a game/ guild or comment I suggest posting on E! Draconomicon. I assure you the slayers, whoever many there were, are done and in the dead rpg section.

fourth: Not all rpgs are fighting and life and death battles. If someone can think up a plotline that you would like to impliment (it can just be sitting around and talking in otherkin form) please make a new thread and try it! Heck, I'd join!
